Cadherin-pan Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a Cell-Based ELISA kit for the detection of Cadherin-pan in cultured cells. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method measured at 450 nm and is designed to measure the relative amounts of Cadherin-pan in cells without requiring lysate preparation. It supports adherent cell samples and is reactive with Human, Mouse, and Rat species, with a stated dynamic range of > 5000 Cells.

The kit employs an indirect ELISA format in which Cadherin-pan-specific primary antibodies capture the target, and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies bind the Fc region of the primary antibody. HRP activity is then measured colorimetrically after substrate addition. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance values. A Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method is also used to determine cell density, allowing absorbance values to be normalised to cell amounts and plating differences to be adjusted.

The target gene symbol is CDH1, with associated Gene IDs 999/1000/1001/1002 and UniProt IDs P12830/P19022/P22223/P55283. The kit is supplied in a 96-Well Microplate format with recommended storage at 4°C for 6 months.
