c-Jun (Phospho-Thr239)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

A Cell-Based ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the qualitative detection of c-Jun phosphorylated at threonine 239 in cultured cells. The assay uses an indirect ELISA format in which phospho-specific primary antibodies capture the target, while HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

The kit is lysate-free and intended for use with adherent cells, allowing researchers to measure relative levels of phosphorylated c-Jun and to screen the effects of various treatments, inhibitors, or activators on c-Jun phosphorylation. Reactivity is reported for Human, Mouse, and Rat. An anti-GAPDH monoclonal antibody is included to serve as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining may be used to determine cell density for further normalization of plating differences.

With a dynamic range of > 5000 cells, the kit supports studies in cell signaling, drug discovery, and investigations into the molecular mechanisms of diseases such as cancer and inflammatory disorders, within the Epigenetics and Nuclear Signaling research area.
