c-Jun Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

This Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables qualitative measurement of c-Jun protein in cultured adherent cells without the need for lysate preparation. Using an indirect ELISA format, c-Jun is captured by specific primary antibodies and detected via HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies that catalyse a colour-forming reaction upon substrate addition, read at 450 nm. The dynamic range supports more than 5000 cells, and reactivity is demonstrated for Human, Mouse and Rat, with a research area focus in Epigenetics and Nuclear Signaling.

A monoclonal antibody specific for GAPDH is supplied as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance values, and an optional Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step can be used to determine cell density so that readings can be adjusted for plating differences. The workflow accommodates treatments, inhibitors (including siRNA or chemicals) or activators for screening their impact on c-Jun expression.
