Quantitative measurement of vascular endothelial growth factor A in bovine-origin samples is the focus of the VEGF-A PharmaGenie ELISA Kit from Assay Genie. Built on a 96-assay plate format with a colorimetric readout, the kit supports research workflows involving cattle-derived cell culture supernatants, plasma, and serum.

VEGF-A is a key signaling protein that drives angiogenesis, vascular permeability, and endothelial cell proliferation. In bovine models, this cytokine is routinely profiled in studies of corpus luteum formation and regression, follicular angiogenesis, mammary gland development, wound healing, and reproductive tissue remodeling. Researchers tracking VEGF-A dynamics across the ovarian cycle, in lactation biology, or in in vitro angiogenesis assays can use the kit to generate concentration data from conditioned media and plasma- or serum-derived fractions.

Each kit contains reagents sufficient for 96 assays, supporting mid-throughput study designs. The plate is read on a standard microplate reader, with absorbance values used to back-calculate VEGF-A concentrations expressed in pg/mL or ng/mL. Reagents are configured for cell culture supernatants, EDTA or heparin plasma, and serum prepared from bovine whole blood.
