Bovine TGF-beta (Transforming Growth Factor Beta) ELISA Kit

A sandwich double-antibody ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantification of TGF-beta (Transforming Growth Factor Beta) in bovine samples. Detection is colorimetric, and the kit is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types. TGF-beta is described as a key regulatory protein involved in cell growth, differentiation, and immune response modulation, with dysregulation implicated in cancer, fibrosis, and autoimmune disorders.

Reported performance figures include a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a measuring range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL. Components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. Serum dilutional linearity ranges from 90-100% (1:2), 86-105% (1:4) and 85-93% (1:8); EDTA plasma from 83-99%, 82-98% and 82-98%; and heparin plasma from 80-90%, 86-97% and 80-100% respectively. Reported recovery ranges are 87-101% for serum (average 95%), 92-104% for EDTA plasma (average 97%) and 89-98% for heparin plasma (average 93%).
