Bovine Superoxide dismutase [Cu-Zn] (SOD1) ELISA Kit

Cu-Zn SOD1 is an essential enzyme that plays a crucial role in antioxidant defense by scavenging harmful free radicals in the body. It destroys radicals which are normally produced within the cells and which are toxic to biological systems, with catalytic activity of 2 superoxide + 2 H+ = O2 + H2O2. Dysregulation of Cu-Zn SOD1 has been implicated in neurodegenerative disorders, cancer and inflammatory conditions, making this kit useful for research in neurosciences and related fields.
