Bovine Serine/arginine-rich splicing factor 2 (SRSF2) ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of Bovine Serine/arginine-rich splicing factor 2 (SRSF2) in bovine samples. The colorimetric assay is suitable for serum, plasma, blood, saliva, urine, cell culture supernatant, tissue samples and other related supernatants, and is intended for research use only.

The microplate is pre-coated with antibodies specific to SRSF2. Samples or standards are added to the wells, followed by a biotinylated detection antibody and an Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate. After incubation and washing, a substrate solution is introduced; only wells containing SRSF2, the biotinylated detection antibody and the Avidin-HRP conjugate develop colour. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated with a sulphuric acid solution and the optical density is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The concentration of SRSF2 is calculated by comparing the sample OD to a standard curve.

Kit components include a pre-coated assay plate, standard, sample diluent, assay diluents A and B, detection reagents A and B, wash buffer concentrate, substrate, stop solution, plate sealers and a manual. The assay plate, standard and detection reagents are stored at -20°C, with the substrate kept at 4°C; the test kit may be used throughout its expiry date (six months from the date of manufacture).
