Bovine Pyridoxal kinase (PDXK) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie Bovine Pyridoxal kinase (PDXK) ELISA Kit is a colorimetric sandwich immunoassay for the quantitative measurement of PDXK in bovine serum and plasma samples. Pyridoxal kinase is a key enzyme in vitamin B6 metabolism, catalyzing the phosphorylation of pyridoxine, pyridoxal, and pyridoxamine to their active 5'-phosphate forms, which are essential cofactors in amino acid, neurotransmitter, and one-carbon metabolism.

Each kit contains a pre-coated 96-well microplate plus all reagents required to generate a standard curve and quantify analyte concentration via a standard ELISA workflow. The assay uses a TMB-based colorimetric readout, typically measured at 450 nm, with a sample volume of 50 ul per well. Standards and unknown samples are added to the wells, followed by incubation with detection antibody and TMB substrate; the enzymatic reaction is stopped with stop solution and absorbance is recorded.

For optimal kit performance, store all components at 2-8°C for short-term use and at -20°C for long-term storage; avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles and protect from light.
