Bovine Protein S100-A2 (S100A2) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie sandwich ELISA format uses pre-coated 96-well microplate strips to capture bovine S100A2 from serum or plasma, with a biotinylated detection antibody and streptavidin-HRP conjugate generating a colorimetric signal read at 450 nm. Standards and unknown samples are typically run in duplicate, and protein concentration is interpolated from a standard curve covering approximately 0.156–10 ng/mL.

Unopened kit components should be stored at 2–8 °C; reconstituted standards should be aliquoted to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and the complete assay procedure can generally be completed within a standard 3–4 hour workflow. The kit is intended for research use only and is not validated for diagnostic or clinical decision-making.

S100A2 is a calcium-binding member of the EF-hand S100 protein family, implicated in epithelial cell differentiation, proliferation, and reported as dysregulated in several comparative oncology and bovine health studies.
