Bovine PAG2 (Pregnancy associated glycoprotein 2) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie supplies a competitive ELISA kit (coated with antigen) for the quantitative detection of Pregnancy Associated Glycoprotein 2 (PAG2) in bovine samples. The assay is intended for research use in bovine reproduction, supporting studies of maternal pregnancy recognition and fetal development.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit reports a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a standard range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. Linearity in serum (n=10) is 89-101%, 85-97%, and 86-103% at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions respectively; EDTA plasma (n=10) shows 83-99%, 88-100%, and 82-94%; heparin plasma (n=10) shows 82-91%, 82-98%, and 80-91%. Average recovery is 95% in serum, 93% in EDTA plasma, and 96% in heparin plasma. Detection is colorimetric, using HRP-streptavidin and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm. The kit should be stored at 2-8°C (sealed) and not cryopreserved.
