Bovine Mucin 1 (MUC1) ELISA Kit

Mucin 1 (MUC1) is a heavily O-glycosylated type I transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on the apical surface of glandular and ductal epithelia, where it contributes to barrier protection, lubrication, and cell signaling. In bovine models, MUC1 has been investigated in mammary tissue, milk fractions, and reproductive tract studies relevant to mastitis, lactation biology, and mucosal immunity in cattle.

This Assay Genie ELISA Kit provides 96 determinations per box for measuring MUC1 in tissue homogenates and cell lysates prepared from bovine specimens. The assay uses a colorimetric readout readable on a standard microplate reader, and all reagents are supplied in individual vials ready to equilibrate to room temperature before the first run.

Reagents should be kept refrigerated between uses, and unopened components retain activity through the shelf life printed on the kit insert. To preserve detection antibody and standard performance, aliquot after the first thaw and limit additional freeze-thaw cycles of the supplied conjugates and standards.
