Bovine Interleukin 5 (IL-5) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie Bovine Interleukin 5 (IL-5) ELISA Kit supports quantitative measurement of IL-5, a Th2-associated cytokine central to eosinophil biology in cattle. IL-5 governs eosinophil production in the bone marrow, their release into circulation, and their accumulation at mucosal sites during parasitic infection or allergic challenge. Quantifying circulating or local IL-5 concentrations helps researchers evaluate mucosal immunity, helminth resistance, vaccine adjuvanticity, and respiratory inflammation in dairy and beef cattle populations, as well as in related bovine disease models.

Each kit contains a pre-coated microplate, assay diluent, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, chromogen substrate, stop solution, wash buffer, and a vial of recombinant bovine IL-5 standard for curve generation.
