Bovine Interferon Inducible T-Cell Alpha Chemoattractant (ITaC) ELISA Kit

Quantitative measurement of interferon-inducible T-cell alpha chemoattractant in cattle is supported by the Assay Genie ELISA Kit, a research-use immunoassay that detects this CXC-family chemokine ligand of CXCR3. The chemokine directs trafficking of activated T lymphocytes and is upregulated during viral challenge and intracellular pathogen infections, making it a useful readout in studies of Th1-polarized immune responses across respiratory, reproductive, and mucosal tissues in bovine models.

Supplied in a 96 assays configuration with a pre-coated microplate, detection reagents, and a recombinant bovine ITaC standard, the workflow follows standard immunoassay practice: diluted samples are pipetted into antibody-coated wells, washed, incubated with a biotinylated detection antibody, exposed to streptavidin-HRP conjugate, developed with TMB substrate, and read by absorbance to interpolate chemokine concentration from the standard curve. Reconstituted reagents and working conjugate are kept refrigerated until first use, and aliquoted working solutions may be frozen for repeat measurements within the kit shelf life.
