Bovine Interferon Beta (IFNb) ELISA Kit

An enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay from Assay Genie built for the quantitative measurement of bovine interferon beta (IFNb), a type I interferon central to innate antiviral defense in cattle. Veterinary immunology laboratories, infectious-disease researchers, and vaccine-development groups use the assay to monitor IFNb induction following viral challenge, bacterial infection, or experimental immune stimulation in bovine models.

The kit ships with a pre-coated microplate, biotinylated detection antibody, recombinant IFNb standards, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash concentrate, substrate, and stop solution, supporting 96 individual determinations. Reconstituted standards and antibody vials should be kept refrigerated; the sealed plate pouch may stay at room temperature until first use. The colorimetric endpoint is read on a standard microplate reader, and the workflow accepts cell culture supernatant, tissue homogenate, and cell lysate inputs alongside standard blood-derived matrices.
