Bovine Inhibin Beta E (INHbE) ELISA Kit

Inhibin Beta E (INHBE) is a secreted subunit of the transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β) superfamily, first identified in activated hepatic stellate cells and implicated in metabolic regulation, hepatic lipid handling, and adipogenesis. The Assay Genie kit uses a sandwich immunoassay on a pre-coated microplate, with biotinylated detection antibody and streptavidin-HRP signal generation for colorimetric readout.

For standard runs, researchers typically load 50 µL of sample per well, run the assay in duplicate, and generate a standard curve from seven prepared calibrators. The kit is intended for the quantitative measurement of bovine INHBE and shows no significant cross-reactivity with the closely related INHBA and INHBB subunits. Unopened kits should be stored refrigerated at 2-8°C and protected from light, while reconstituted standards should be aliquoted and frozen at -20°C to limit freeze-thaw cycles.
