Bovine interleukin-4 (IL-4) is a Th2-associated cytokine central to humoral immune regulation, B-cell proliferation, and IgE class switching in cattle. The Assay Genie cytokine immunoassay supports quantitative profiling of native IL-4 release in experimental bovine models of respiratory disease, mastitis, vaccination responses, and helminth infection. The kit provides a pre-coated microplate, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-enzyme conjugate, wash buffer, chromogenic substrate, and standardized recombinant bovine IL-4 calibrators for accurate standard-curve interpolation. Specimen inputs include cell culture supernatant and blood-derived fractions from cattle during immunological studies.
