Bovine IL-1bELISA Kit (BOFI00060)

Designed by Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of bovine interleukin-1 beta, this sandwich double-antibody ELISA is compatible with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated detection antibody, HRP-conjugated streptavidin, and TMB substrate to produce a colorimetric reaction read at 450 nm after addition of an acidic stop solution. Signal intensity is proportional to target concentration and is interpolated from a standard curve.

The kit offers a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a working range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions, and recovery has been evaluated across the same matrices. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months, with the TMB substrate, detection antibody, and SABC conjugate protected from direct light. Interleukin-1 beta is classified as a cytokine, and the kit is intended for research use only.
