Each strip plate is pre-coated with a bovine-specific capture antibody showing no significant cross-reactivity with related cytokines such as IL-1β or IL-1RA, and the protocol requires roughly 100 µL of sample per well, completed in under four hours at room temperature. Unopened kit components should be refrigerated upon arrival, with the reconstituted standard stored frozen and limited to a small number of freeze-thaw cycles.
