The Assay Genie bovine IL-12A (p35) kit provides quantitative measurement of the p35 subunit of interleukin-12 in cattle samples using paired antibodies pre-coated onto a microplate. IL-12A pairs with IL-12B (p40) to form the bioactive IL-12p70 heterodimer, a key driver of Th1 differentiation and interferon-gamma production in cattle.

Reported performance includes a detection range of 31.25 to 2000 pg/mL, a sensitivity below 10 pg/mL, and a recommended sample volume of 100 µL per well. The capture and detection antibodies are specific to bovine IL-12A/p35, with no significant cross-reactivity against bovine IL-12B/p40, IL-23, or IL-27 in validation testing. The kit is intended for veterinary immunology research, including vaccine efficacy studies, bovine respiratory disease models, and pathogen challenge work.
