Bovine IL-1 RA DIY ELISA Kit

The Bovine IL-1 RA DIY ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of interleukin-1 receptor antagonist (IL-1RA) in bovine research samples. IL-1RA is a naturally occurring anti-inflammatory cytokine that competitively blocks IL-1α and IL-1β from engaging the type I IL-1 receptor, and its circulating concentration is routinely examined in studies of bovine mastitis, respiratory disease, endotoxemia, and vaccine adjuvant response.

This DIY configuration supplies the capture antibody, biotinylated detection antibody, recombinant bovine IL-1RA standard, and streptavidin-HRP conjugate in bulk vials, giving laboratories flexibility to coat their own microplates and schedule runs independently of pre-coated kit batches. Bulk reagents are sufficient for up to 10 plates, accommodating both pilot screens and larger cohort investigations.

The standard curve spans approximately 15.6 to 1000 pg/mL, with sensitivity around 7.8 pg/mL and a 100 µL sample volume per well. Capture and detection antibodies are bovine-specific, with no significant cross-reactivity observed with related bovine cytokines such as IL-1β or IL-18.
