Bovine HSP60 (Heat shock protein 60) ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative determination of HSP60 in bovine samples, this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie uses a double-antibody format with colorimetric detection read at 450 nm. The kit is reactive against bovine species and is suitable for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. HSP60 is a molecular chaperone involved in protein folding and the regulation of cellular stress response, with abnormal levels linked in the literature to cancer, autoimmune disorders and inflammatory conditions.

Assay performance is characterised by a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL and a working range of 1.563-100 ng/mL. Linearity across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 in serum (n=5) was 91-99%, 80-98% and 90-104%; in EDTA plasma (n=5) 83-97%, 92-98% and 86-99%; and in heparin plasma (n=5) 89-98%, 92-96% and 86-103%. Recovery ranges were 85-102% in serum (average 96%), 86-105% in EDTA plasma (average 95%) and 86-105% in heparin plasma (average 95%). Kits are shipped for storage at 2-8°C and remain stable for 12 months under those conditions.
