Bovine Galectin 1 (GAL1) ELISA Kit

Galectin-1 (LGALS1) is a small β-galactoside-binding lectin that participates in immune cell homeostasis, T-cell apoptosis regulation, angiogenesis, and cell-matrix adhesion. In cattle, galectin-1 has been investigated in the context of mucosal immunity, host defenses against bacterial and parasitic pathogens, and inflammatory signaling pathways. The assay accommodates a variety of bovine sample types, including serum fractions, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and cell culture supernatant fractions.

The kit contains a pre-coated microtiter plate, lyophilized or liquid standards, a biotinylated detection reagent, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer, substrate solution, and stop reagent. Reconstitute and dilute reagents according to the supplied protocol insert; store the kit refrigerated upon receipt and protect components from light.
