Bovine Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) ELISA Kit

Optimised for quantitative measurement of follicle-stimulating hormone in bovine serum and plasma, this kit from Assay Genie uses a sandwich immunoassay format on a pre-coated 96-well microplate. FSH is a pituitary gonadotropin that regulates folliculogenesis and spermatogenesis, making the assay widely used in reproductive biology, veterinary endocrinology, dairy cattle fertility research, and oestrous cycle studies.

The protocol requires a 50 uL sample volume per well, with an incubation of around 90 minutes at room temperature before the colour development step is read on a standard microplate reader. Reconstituted standards and detection antibody should be stored refrigerated, while unused strips should be kept sealed with desiccant to preserve shelf life.

Reagents are supplied ready-to-use with no significant cross-reactivity reported against bovine LH, TSH, or related pituitary glycoproteins within the standard curve range. All components are intended for research use only and are not validated for diagnostic or clinical decision-making.
