Bovine DNA excision repair protein ERCC-1 (ERCC1) ELISA Kit

At the heart of the nucleotide excision repair (NER) pathway, ERCC-1 partners with XPF (ERCC4) to form a structure-specific endonuclease that incises damaged DNA on the 5' side of bulky helix-distorting lesions such as UV-induced pyrimidine dimers and platinum-DNA adducts. This Assay Genie immunoassay kit enables quantitative detection of the bovine form of ERCC-1 in research samples.

With reactivity specific to bovine species, the kit supports veterinary toxicology research, livestock disease resistance studies, and comparative mammalian DNA repair biology. Common applications include monitoring ERCC-1 protein levels in cattle exposed to environmental genotoxins, ultraviolet radiation, or platinum-containing compounds used in cancer research, as well as baseline quantification in healthy and diseased animal cohorts.
