Bovine Cyclophilin B (CYPB) ELISA Kit

This research-use ELISA Kit from Assay Genie quantifies bovine cyclophilin B (CYPB), also known as peptidyl-prolyl isomerase B (PPIB), an endoplasmic reticulum-resident chaperone with peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase activity. CYPB catalyses the isomerisation of peptide bonds preceding proline residues and supports the folding of procollagen chains and other secreted cargo, making it a relevant target in studies of collagen biosynthesis, connective tissue biology and cellular stress responses.

Configured for 96 assays, the kit measures CYPB in serum samples, plasma samples, tissue homogenates, cell lysates and cell culture supernatants from cattle. Intended applications include profiling PPIase expression in bovine chondrocyte and fibroblast cultures, monitoring CYPB release in inflammatory or oxidative-stress challenge experiments, and using PPIB as a reference target alongside collagen output readouts in connective-tissue research.
