Bovine Creatine Kinase, Muscle (CKM) ELISA Kit

This colorimetric enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay from Assay Genie quantifies muscle-type creatine kinase (CKM) in samples from cattle, providing a research tool for veterinary, muscle physiology, and food-animal studies. CKM is a cytosolic homodimer that catalyzes the reversible transfer of a phosphoryl group between ATP and creatine, supporting rapid ATP regeneration during skeletal muscle contraction; altered circulating CKM concentrations are widely used as indicators of skeletal muscle injury, exercise stress, and metabolic disturbance in livestock.
