Bovine CLDN3 (Claudin 3) ELISA Kit

Designed for the accurate measurement of CLDN3 (Claudin-3) levels in bovine samples, this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is suitable for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. CLDN3 is a critical component of tight junctions in epithelial cells, playing a key role in the regulation of paracellular transport and maintaining cellular barrier function, and its dysregulation has been implicated in various diseases including cancer and inflammatory bowel disease.

The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich ELISA format with colorimetric detection. Reported sensitivity is 0.188 ng/mL and the assay range is 0.313–20 ng/mL. Linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions was 91–105%, 86–100% and 82–98% for serum; 99–105%, 84–95% and 85–98% for EDTA plasma; and 86–102%, 86–100% and 90–98% for heparin plasma (n = 5). Spike-and-recovery averages were 95% for serum, 92% for EDTA plasma and 94% for heparin plasma. Kits should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
