Bovine CHI3L1 (Chitinase-3-like protein 1) ELISA Kit

CHI3L1, also known as YKL-40, is a glycoprotein involved in inflammation, tissue remodeling, and cell proliferation. Reactivity is bovine and the assay uses a Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody format. Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell lysis buffer or tissue lysis buffer, and other biological fluids. Sensitivity is 0.938 ng/mL and the detection range is 1.563-100 ng/mL. Kit storage is 2-8°C for 12 months.

Linearity at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions is reported as 81-94%, 89-104%, and 85-103% for serum (n=5); 83-92%, 86-104%, and 82-97% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 90-97%, 94-99%, and 88-99% for heparin plasma (n=5). Recovery ranges are 87-100% (average 96%) for serum, 90-105% (average 91%) for EDTA plasma, and 87-103% (average 97%) for heparin plasma.
