Bovine C-X-C chemokine receptor type 2 (CXCR2) ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the quantification of bovine C-X-C chemokine receptor type 2 (CXCR2). It uses a colorimetric ELISA detection method and is reactive with bovine samples, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit shows specificity for natural and recombinant bovine CXCR2 (UniProt Q28003), with a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.097ng/mL. Components are stored at -20°C or 4°C.

CXCR2, also known as high affinity interleukin-8 receptor B, IL-8R B, CD182, CXC-R2 or IL8RB, is a multi-pass cell membrane protein. It binds interleukin-8 with high affinity, mediating neutrophil activation and chemotaxis through a G-protein-coupled phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger pathway. The receptor also binds with high affinity to CXCL3, GRO/MGSA and NAP-2. Dysregulation of CXCR2 signalling is implicated in inflammatory disorders, autoimmune conditions and cancer, supporting its relevance in immunology and cancer research.
