Bovine Beta-galactosidase (GLB1) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie Bovine Beta-galactosidase (GLB1) ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of GLB1 in bovine serum and plasma using a sandwich immunoassay on a 96-well microplate with colorimetric detection. GLB1 is a lysosomal hydrolase that cleaves terminal galactose residues from glycolipids, glycoproteins, and keratan sulfate, and altered expression is being studied in veterinary models of lysosomal storage disorders and metabolic dysfunction.

Each kit provides a pre-coated 96-well plate, lyophilized standards, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer, substrate solution, and stop reagent. Typical assay runtime is about 2.5 hours. Store all components at 2-8 °C, protect from light, and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles of the reconstituted standards. Reconstituted reagents are stable for short-term use within the shelf life of the kit.
