Bovine Angiotensin II (AngII) ELISA Kit

A competitive immunoassay from Assay Genie built to quantify Angiotensin II peptide in bovine research samples. The kit uses a competitive binding principle, in which AngII present in test samples competes with a reference AngII conjugate for binding to anti-AngII antibodies immobilised on the microplate. Signal intensity is inversely proportional to AngII concentration, so higher analyte levels yield weaker absorbance. Each kit ships as a complete pack containing pre-coated plate wells, assay buffer, a labelled AngII detection reagent, AngII calibrators for the standard curve, wash concentrate, substrate, and stop solution. Standards are typically run in duplicate to build the standard curve, and test samples are diluted as needed to fall within the working range of the assay. The product is for research use only in vitro and supports cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic research in cattle, including investigations of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system, blood pressure regulation, fluid balance, and physiological stress responses. All reagents should be refrigerated upon receipt, equilibrated to room temperature before use, and the plate read on a standard microplate reader. Unused wells from the strip plate should be returned to the foil pouch with desiccant and resealed to keep the pre-coated antibodies dry and active.
