BL-CAM Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

This cell-based ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the reliable detection of BL-CAM levels in cell samples. It offers high sensitivity and specificity, allowing precise measurements and reproducible results across research applications in cell biology, and can be used with adherent cells.

The kit uses a lysate-free, high-throughput format for measuring relative amounts of BL-CAM in cultured cells, and for screening the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators. Qualitative determination of BL-CAM concentration is achieved by an indirect ELISA format, in which BL-CAM is captured by specific primary antibodies and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. The detection method is colorimetric, read at 450 nm, with a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells.

Normalization is supported by a monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH, included as an internal positive control, and by an optional Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step to determine cell density and adjust for plating differences. The kit is supplied in a 96-well microplate format with a storage stability of 4°C for 6 months, and is for human reactivity.
