Bcr (Phospho-Tyr360)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

A cell-based ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the specific and quantitative measurement of phospho-tyrosine 360 on the BCR protein. The kit supports research into the BCR signaling pathway, which plays a critical role in B cell development, activation, and differentiation, making it a key target in immunology and cancer biology.

The assay uses a lysate-free, high-throughput indirect ELISA format. BCR (Phospho-Tyr360) is captured by phospho-specific primary antibodies, with HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies binding the Fc region of the primary antibody to catalyze a colorimetric reaction at 450 nm. The kit is reactive with human and mouse samples and has a dynamic range of > 5000 cells. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method may be used to determine cell density after the colorimetric measurement.

The BCR protein is described as having serine/threonine protein kinase activity and acting as a GTPase-activating protein for RAC1 and CDC42. It participates in a chromosomal translocation that produces a BCR-ABL fusion oncogene implicated in chronic myeloid leukemia, acute myeloid leukemia, and acute lymphoblastic leukemia. The kit is intended for use with adherent cell samples.
