Bcr Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

Developed by Assay Genie, this cell-based ELISA kit is a convenient, lysate-free, high-throughput assay for detecting the Bcr protein expression profile in cultured cells. The qualitative, indirect ELISA format uses Bcr-specific primary antibodies together with HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies that catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. Researchers can apply the kit to measure relative Bcr levels in cultured cells and to screen the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on Bcr expression.

Reactivity is confirmed for human and mouse samples, and the kit is intended for use with adherent cells. Detection is colorimetric and read at 450 nm, with a stated dynamic range of > 5000 Cells. The plate is supplied in a 96-well microplate format and the kit is stable at 4°C for 6 months.

Because the assay is qualitative, two normalization methods are provided: a monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody acts as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance values, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining can be used to determine cell density, enabling absorbance values to be adjusted for plating differences.
