Bcl-6 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a Cell-Based ELISA Kit designed for the detection of BCL-6 protein levels in cell samples, providing a convenient, lysate-free, high-throughput and sensitive approach to characterise protein expression directly in cultured cells. The assay captures BCL-6 using BCL-6-specific primary antibodies, while HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyse a colorimetric reaction measured at 450 nm.

Reactivity is reported for human, mouse and rat samples, with a dynamic range of greater than 5000 cells. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step may be used to determine cell density for additional normalisation of plating differences.

The kit is supplied in a microplate format with storage at 4°C for 6 months. It can be used to measure relative BCL-6 amounts in cultured cells and to screen the effects of various treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals) or activators. BCL-6 is a transcriptional repressor that is required for germinal centre formation and antibody affinity maturation, with dysregulation linked to lymphomas and autoimmune disorders.
