AurB Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

This In-Cell ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the detection of the AurB (AURKB) protein directly in cultured cells. It is a lysate-free, high-throughput, and sensitive assay that uses an indirect ELISA format, in which AurB is captured by AurB-specific primary antibodies and detected via HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies that catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition.

The kit is intended for use with adherent cells and has demonstrated reactivity with human, mouse, and rat samples. Detection is colorimetric, measured at 450 nm, with a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells. The kit includes a monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance values, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining is provided to determine cell density so that absorbance values can be normalized to cell amounts.

AurB is a member of the aurora kinase family and a key regulator of mitosis, involved in chromosome alignment and segregation and the onset of cytokinesis. Dysregulation of AURB has been linked to diseases such as cancer, making the kit relevant to research in oncology, cell biology, and drug discovery. The kit is stored at 4°C with a stability of 6 Months.
