ATF7 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

A colorimetric, cell-based ELISA from Assay Genie enables sensitive and specific detection of ATF7 (Activating Transcription Factor 7) protein levels in cultured cells, without the need for lysate preparation. Designed in a 96-well microplate format, the kit uses an indirect ELISA workflow in which ATF7-specific primary antibodies capture the target, and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition, read at 450 nm. The assay supports qualitative determination of relative ATF7 expression in adherent cells and is suitable for monitoring the effects of treatments, inhibitors such as siRNA or chemicals, and activators on ATF7 levels.

Validated for use with human and mouse samples, the assay has a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells, and the supplied components are stable for 6 Months when stored at 4°C. The kit includes a monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody to serve as an internal positive control for normalization, along with Crystal Violet whole-cell staining reagents to account for cell density.
