ATF1 (Phospho-Ser63)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Cell-Based ELISA Kit enables the detection of ATF1 phosphorylation at serine 63 in cell samples. The assay is reactive with human and mouse samples and is suitable for adherent cells. It uses a colorimetric detection method measured at 450 nm and has a dynamic range of greater than 5000 cells.

The kit is a lysate-free, high-throughput, and sensitive assay for detecting ATF1 protein phosphorylation and expression profiles directly in cells. It can be used to measure the relative amounts of phosphorylated ATF1 in cultured cells and to screen the effects of various treatments, inhibitors, or activators on ATF1 phosphorylation. The assay uses an indirect ELISA format in which phospho-specific primary antibodies capture the target, and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies bind the Fc region of the primary antibody to catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method may be used to determine cell density.
