ATF1 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this in-cell ELISA kit is designed for the qualitative measurement of ATF1 protein expression directly in cultured cells, without the need for lysate preparation. The assay uses an indirect ELISA format in which ATF1-specific primary antibodies capture the target, and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyse a colour-forming reaction upon substrate addition for readout at 450 nm. It is reactive with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples and is intended for use with adherent cells.

The kit is suited to screening the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on ATF1 expression. A monoclonal anti-human GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance values, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining can be used to determine cell density so that absorbance values can be normalised to cell amount. The stated dynamic range is greater than 5000 cells, and the kit is stored at 4°C with a stability of 6 months.
