AMOZ (Furaltadone Metabolite) ELISA Kit

An Assay Genie Competitive ELISA Kit for the detection of AMOZ, the Furaltadone metabolite (Nitrofuran Furaltadone), in food samples such as muscle (livestock), liver, honey, milk, egg, egg powder, feed, and shrimp. The colorimetric assay uses a microtiter plate pre-coated with coupled antigen. AMOZ in the sample or standard competes with the coated antigen for anti-AMOZ antibody binding sites, after which HRP conjugate and substrate are added for color development. There is a negative correlation between sample OD and AMOZ concentration, which is calculated by reference to a standard curve.

The kit has a sensitivity of 0.05 ppb (ng/mL) and a reaction mode of 25°C, 45 min~15 min. The detection limit is 0.1 ppb for muscle (livestock), liver, honey, milk, egg, milk powder, egg powder, feed, and muscle (fish, shrimp). Cross-reactivity is 100% with Furaltadone metabolite and below 0.1% with Furazolidone metabolite, Aminohydantoin Hydrochloride, and Nitrofurazone metabolite.

The kit comprises an ELISA microtiter plate, standard liquid, derivatization reagent, HRP conjugate, antibody working solution, substrate reagents A and B, stop solution, concentrated wash buffer, reconstitution buffer, plate sealer, sealed bag, and manual. Store at 2~8°C; do not freeze any test kit components.
