Description

A cell-based ELISA kit from Assay Genie for the qualitative detection of AML1 (Acute Myeloid Leukemia 1) protein phosphorylated at serine 276. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method at 450 nm and is suitable for adherent cells, with reactivity in human, mouse, and rat samples.

Operating in an indirect ELISA format, the kit is lysate-free and supports high-throughput screening. Phosphorylated AML1 (Phospho-Ser276) is captured by specific primary antibodies, and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. The dynamic range covers > 5000 Cells. The kit is designed for measuring relative levels of phosphorylated AML1 in cultured cells and for screening the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on AML1 phosphorylation.

Normalisation is supported by an included anti-GAPDH monoclonal antibody serving as an internal positive control, and an optional Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step can be used to determine cell density and adjust for plating differences. The target corresponds to the RUNX1 gene product, and the kit is intended for research into AML1 phosphorylation dynamics relevant to gene expression regulation, cell differentiation, and leukaemia biology.
