AML1 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

This cell-based ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the qualitative determination of AML1 protein expression in cultured cells. Using an indirect ELISA format with colorimetric detection at 450 nm, the assay is validated for human, mouse, and rat samples. Supplied as a lysate-free, high-throughput In-Cell ELISA, the kit is intended for adherent cells and can be used to screen the effects of treatments, inhibitors such as siRNA or chemicals, and other modulators on AML1 expression.

AML1-specific primary antibodies capture the target within fixed cells, and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control to normalize target absorbance values, while a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method can be applied to determine cell density and adjust for plating differences. The kit supports a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells, is provided in a 96-well microplate format, and is stored at 4°C with 6 months stability.

AML1, also known as RUNX1, is a key transcription factor involved in hematopoiesis and essential for normal blood cell development. Aberrant AML1 expression and mutations have been linked to various hematological malignancies, making it a valuable research target for studying leukemia and related blood disorders.
