Akt1 (Phospho-Ser124)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

A colorimetric cell-based ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the qualitative detection of AKT1 phosphorylation at Ser124 in cultured cells. The lysate-free, high-throughput assay employs an indirect ELISA format in which phospho-AKT1 (Ser124) is captured by a target-specific primary antibody, with an HRP-conjugated secondary antibody enabling the colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition.

It is reactive with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples and is intended for adherent cell cultures, supporting measurement of relative phospho-AKT1 levels as well as screening of treatments, inhibitors, or activators that affect AKT1 phosphorylation. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method may be used to determine cell density. Detection is performed colorimetrically at 450 nm, with a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells.
