AKT1/2/3 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

From Assay Genie, this In-Cell ELISA kit is designed for the detection of AKT1, AKT2, and AKT3 protein levels. The assay is described as a convenient, lysate-free, high-throughput and sensitive method for measuring the relative amounts of AKT1/2/3 in cultured cells, and for screening the effects of various treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on AKT1/2/3.

Qualitative determination is achieved by an indirect ELISA format in which AKT1/2/3-specific primary antibodies capture the target, while HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies bind the Fc region of the primary antibody and catalyse a colorimetric reaction at 450 nm upon substrate addition. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance values, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining can be used to determine cell density. The kit has a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells and is reactive with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

Supplied in a 96-Well Microplate format suitable for adherent cells, with storage at 4°C for 6 Months.
