AFX Transcription Factor Activity Assay

This Assay Genie DNA-binding ELISA kit quantifies the DNA-binding activity of activated AFX (also known as FOXO4) by capturing the transcription factor onto a microplate pre-coated with the AFX consensus double-stranded oligonucleotide. The kit provides pre-coated plate, binding buffer, anti-AFX detection antibody, HRP-conjugated secondary reagent, wash buffer, and TMB substrate, requiring approximately 20 uL of nuclear extract per well as the sample volume. The protocol works with human, mouse, and rat samples, providing a species-reactive readout of FOXO4 activity in nuclear and whole-cell lysates. Intended for research use only, the assay supports investigation of forkhead-box transcriptional regulation, oxidative-stress signaling, and cell-cycle control mechanisms in vitro.
