AF10 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

A Cell-Based ELISA kit from Assay Genie enables qualitative detection of AF10 protein expression in cultured cells through a colourimetric reaction. The lysate-free, high-throughput format is intended for adherent cell samples and uses an indirect ELISA approach, in which AF10-specific primary antibodies are captured and visualised via HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies that catalyse colour development upon substrate addition.

Reactivity is reported for Human and Mouse, with a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells. The kit uses a 96-Well Microplate format read at 450 nm and is stable at 4°C for 6 months. A monoclonal GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining may be used to determine cell density, allowing absorbance values to be adjusted for plating differences after the colourimetric step.
