AF (Total Aflatoxin) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie AF (Total Aflatoxin) ELISA Kit is a competitive immunoassay for quantitative screening of AFB1, AFB2, AFG1, and AFG2 contamination across food and feed matrices. Based on a microplate workflow with enzyme-substrate readout, the kit supports routine quality control in grain storage facilities, peanut processing lines, soy sauce and vinegar bottling plants, and ingredient testing laboratories. The kit includes pre-coated microwells, aflatoxin calibration standards, enzyme conjugate, substrate solution, and stop reagent, supplied as a complete pack of components ready for batch analysis.

Samples are extracted, diluted, and incubated alongside standards, with results calculated from the standard curve. Detection range spans 0.05 to 2 ng/mL, with sensitivity around 0.05 ng/mL for AFB1 and quantifiable cross-reactivity toward AFB2, AFG1, and AFG2, so results are reported as total aflatoxin equivalents. A 50 µL sample is added per well in the recommended protocol, and the assay can be completed within roughly 90 minutes after extraction.

Keep all reagents refrigerated and protect from light; avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles of the conjugate and standards. The kit is intended for research use only and should not replace confirmatory HPLC analysis for regulatory disputes.
