ADRB2 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

Assay Genie's Cell-Based ELISA Kit provides a high-throughput, lysate-free approach for quantifying the ADRB2 protein (Beta-2 adrenergic receptor) in cell lysates and culture supernatants. ADRB2 is a key regulator of the body's response to stress and is involved in numerous physiological processes, and it has been linked to conditions such as asthma, heart disease and obesity when dysregulated.

Reactive with human, mouse and rat samples, the kit uses a colorimetric detection method at 450 nm and supports an assay dynamic range of > 5000 Cells, making it suitable for use on adherent cells. ADRB2 is captured by target-specific primary antibodies, and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies bind the Fc region of those primaries to catalyse a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. A monoclonal anti-human GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance values, and Crystal Violet staining can be used to determine cell density for normalisation. The kit should be stored at 4 °C, where it remains stable for 6 months.
