ADCK4 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

A cell-based ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed to detect ADCK4 protein expression in cultured cells using a colorimetric readout at 450 nm. The assay is lysate-free and configured for high-throughput screening of treatment effects, inhibitors, and activators on ADCK4 levels in adherent cell samples.

Detection relies on an indirect ELISA format, in which ADCK4-specific primary antibodies capture the target and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance values, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining can be used to determine cell density after the HRP measurement. The kit is reactive with human, mouse, and rat samples and reports a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells. Storage is at 4°C for 6 months.

ADCK4 (official gene symbol COQ8B, UniProt ID Q96D53) is a member of the protein kinase superfamily reported with a molecular weight of 60 kDa and is associated with Nephrotic Syndrome, Type 9.
