ADCK2 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

From Assay Genie, this cell-based ELISA kit is designed for the qualitative detection of ADCK2 protein expression in cultured cells using a colorimetric readout at 450 nm. The assay uses an indirect ELISA format in which ADCK2-specific primary antibodies capture the target and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. The kit is described as lysate-free, high throughput, and sensitive, and is suitable for measuring relative ADCK2 levels in cultured cells as well as screening the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on ADCK2 expression.

The kit is intended for use with adherent human cells and has a stated dynamic range of > 5000 Cells. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step may be used to determine cell density for further normalization.
